" For me the PUL is the main new thing that happened these last years in Orthodontics. It regulates in only one phase the problem of oral hygiene ( fixed appliance is deferred for months), it allows posterior egression which compensates incisor egression , it can be weared at any age and any dentition phase and any class II, It does not require retention because it requests indirectly muscular activity, therefore it is physiological, it allows oral breathing for defective nasal patients, It is discrete and thus allows the more effective permanent wearing.
